Who is this person who so boldly names a blog PoopFish?

Well I am currently 34 years old and a graphic designer. I have a loving wife, who accepts my weird ways, a tiny daughter who rules my world and a 90 pound black lab that I occasionally sing to.

I have a great job that keeps me occupied from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm every day, except on weekends. That is kind of a half-truth. I actually do have to work on weekends from time-to-time. When I am at home I take care of my regular chores like walking the dog, dinner, doing the dishes, taking out the recycling/trash, vacuuming, and cleaning the floors.

The times I am not doing chores are almost always spent with my wife and daughter. Elmo is big part of my life now and I have fully embraced all of Elmo’s friends thanks to my little girl. My favorite friends of Elmo’s are Mr. Noodle and his brother Mr. Noodle.

Being a dad is a full time job and I try to shoe horn in time with my best buddies. If we manage to connect we usually vent about jobs and daily life, laugh, exchange crazy ideas, and dive into the world of handcrafted brews. If I am by myself I work on side projects (usually design or art oriented), searching out new music, or playing video games while enjoying a beer.

Through all of work, the chores, and the fun my mind is continually working. I am not talking about the basic functions to sustain life. I am talking about those random wandering thoughts. Picture my thoughts like particles in a particle accelerator precariously flying around in space. Eventually the thoughts will collide and produce a new particle or thought.

PoopFish will be my so-called canvas for these thoughts. So expect random, quirky, funny, eye opening, and for the most part weird.
